Pros
- Exposure to a wide variety of audience
- Helpful for users to learn more by clicking on the thumbnail
- Able to advertise on social networks (ex. Facebook, myspace,etc)
- Cheaper to advertise
- Flexibility and Control where advertisement will be shown, and the frequency of it
Cons
- Overexposure on the web
- Audience have options to exit advertisements screens
- Audience can navigate to other pages
- Many users don't pay attention to advertisements on webpages
- Users have the ability to block pop ups which my enable advertisements not to be exposed at all
