Pros

• Exposure to a wide variety of audience
• Helpful for users to learn more by clicking on the thumbnail
• Able to advertise on social networks (ex. Facebook, myspace,etc)
• Cheaper to advertise
• Flexibility and Control where advertisement will be shown, and the frequency of it

Cons

• Overexposure on the web
• Audience have options to exit advertisements screens
• Audience can navigate to other pages
• Many users don't pay attention to advertisements on webpages
• Users have the ability to block pop ups which my enable advertisements not to be exposed at all

The Old Town Voyage!

What do on that crazy sunny saturday?? I tanned with my friend by my unopened pool! I did anything to take my chance for a tint of some color! My ingerdients included tanning chairs, towels, tanning oil, bathing suits, and ourselves! We laid out for a couple of hours than decided we should do something different, so we got dolled up and headed to Old Town Alexandria!

I posted a slide show of my time at Old town! They did alot of remodeling for the landscape, you will see alot of pretty views!!

The sun really EXISTS!!!

Today is April 17th and we have weather in the seventies and the sun is shining bright! I have come to the conclusion that I might have some case of SADD, meaning "Seasonal Affective Disorder Depression" because I have been like depressed and moody on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with all the rain and darkness!!

However, yesterday and today has been a blessing because I now know the sun exists and has been keeping a smile on my face. Today is perfect for the Marymount Spring fest, and just to walk at the park and enjoy the sun's heat. This weather gets me excited about the upcoming summer season!!

Papers, finals, upcoming deadlines will be much easier for me with nice weather on my side! Go away rain! thanks! :)

Work and no Play..

Last weekend one of my closest friends left for the Air force :(. We had a festive weekend othat consistesd of night clubs and a party with a cake for her farewell. She will be heading to San Antonio, Texas and go through two weeks of boot camp than graduate and then tech school! I am so proud of her, and i know she will be fine because she is strong and determined!

Jobs!

I have been on the job hunt for a couple of weeks now. CareerBuilder.com has been my best friend..i have been looking for a internship just to be ahead of the game..or just a summer job in the field I want to do in the future. I have had some good luck. I already had on interview with a company in Manassas, but I am still looking around because I dont want to have to commute that far in the summer.

Today I just got a call from another company, and they want me to go in for an interview this thursday! yayay! We will see hopefully I can pick the right job that will help me gain experience and help me figure out what I want to do for my future career!

Next Month of Stress

April is supposed to be happy and warm but instead I feel like its the opposite. I have this last month to finish two pig papers, and group presentations. I have been procrastinating on everything. I have to juggle my extra hours that have been added on to my work schedule because a few employees left!! AND FINALS!! AHH!!!

However, i need to stay positive. I have been going to interviews for an internship in Communications so at least I am one step closer to my career, but maybe not in my papers :(

I have been on the computer a lot lately, searching through the web avoiding anything having to do with school so i decided to see what is going on in Virginia. I found on yahoo a list of local events. So if yo are bored of the mall, movies ( under 21 types of things) than maybe try to get more creative.
